Most data center sites have lots and lots of uncovered cable openings that leak lots
and lots of air. This leakage reduces the static pressure of the
under-floor cool air delivery. (Not very green for a data center.)
Installing more cooling capacity won't necessarily solve the problem! The problem isn't always a lack of cooling capacity but improper cold air delivery. In order to get cold air to go where you want it, you have to stop it from going where you
don't want it to go.
